Veronica had arrived back at the school in the middle of the night. Her trip to LA had been... well... interesting.

After saying goodbye to Nadia, Veronica went back to her alcove and packed her belongings, including the presents that someone had left for her.

She made her way back to the dorm to pack for her trip and waited for Archie to show up. There was a feeling of dread in the pit of her stomach.

Veronica was sleeping. She'd woken up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and coughed, realizing that her voice was back. She checked on Archie, but he was still sound asleep on his wooden ship in his makeshift hammock.

With a sigh, she crawled back in to bed. At least one problem was fixed.

Veronica was pacing her room. She'd gotten a handwavy call from Bel as soon as he was done in detention and he'd told her about the binding spell. After finally getting out of bed, Veronica returned to her room and spent the morning online making plans for her and Archie's trip to Washington DC the following weekend. She booked a hotel room, bought tickets for RENT and checked to see what special exhibits were going on at the various museums.
